Analysis

THE STUDENT PILOT DEPARTED A RUNWAY WITH ICE AND PACKED SNOW, FLEW A ROUNDABOUT ROUTE, AND RETURNED FOR A CROSSWIND LANDING ON THE SAME RUNWAY. THE AIRPLANE DRIFTED TO THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY DURING LANDING ROLL, STRUCK BANKED SNOW AND OVERTURNED.
