Analysis

DURING THE LANDING FLARE ON THE 50-FT WIDE RUNWAY THE AIRPLANE BEGAN TO DRIFT LEFT. THE PILOT OVERCORRECTED THIS CONDITION AND THE AIRPLANE EXITED THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND COLLIDED WITH AN EMBEDDED ROCK.
