DURING A LANDING, THE AIRPLANE BOUNCED AND TOUCHED DOWN HARD, COLLAPSING THE NOSE GEAR. THE AIRPLANE THEN SKIDDED APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET AND CAME TO REST ON THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.
