THE PILOT ATTEMPTED A TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 18 WITH WINDS FROM 220 DEGREES AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS. THE GRASS RUNWAY WAS 2700 FEET LONG AND 90 FEET WIDE.
