THE AIRPLANE HAD ROLLED FOR 100 FEET WHEN THE LEFT WHEEL HIT A MOUND OF DIRT LEFT BY A POCKED GOPHER. THE WHEELPANT BRACKET CONTACTED THE TIRE AND ACTED AS A BRAKE. AIRPLANE NOSED FORWARD TO THE INVERTED POSITION.
