THE PLT REPORTED THAT DURING LANDING THE ACFT STARTED TO SKID TO THE LEFT OF THE RWY. HE APPLIED RUDDER AND AILERON AND THEN ADDED POWER. THE ELEVATOR WAS PULLED BACK, THE NOSE WENT UP AND THE LEFT WING WENT DOWN. THE ACFT HIT THE GROUND HARD ON THE WING TIP AND LANDING GEAR. THE NOSE GEAR AND RT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE ACFT SKIDDED TO A STOP. THE PLT SAID THAT DURING THE LANDING THE WIND WAS CHANGING VELOCITY AND DIRECTION RAPIDLY.
