THE ACFT MADE EXCESSIVELY STEEP TURNS AT LOW ALTITUDE AND THE ENGINE LOST POWER. DURING THE FORCED LANDING THAT FOLLOWEDTHE ACFT STRUCK A TREE AND ROLLED INVERTED. IT STRUCK THE GROUND IN A NEAR VERTICAL NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE. FROM THE AMOUNT OF FUEL ABOARD AT TAKEOFF AND THE FLT TIME THE FUEL IN THE TANK BEING USED WAS DOWN TO ABOUT 1/4 OF A TANK. THE HANDBOOKSTATES THAT AT THIS FUEL LEVEL FUEL OUTLETS CAN BE UNCOVERED IN UNCOORDINATED SLIPS OR SKIDS WHICH WILL CAUSE FUEL STARVATION.
