Boeing 737-400
On March 10, 2008, an Adam Air 737-400 overran the runway at Batam, Indonesia, during landing. There were 6 crew members and 171 passengers on board. There are 5 minor injuries reported. The airplane's right wing and engine were damaged after the right main landing gear collapsed. The National Transportation Safety Committe of Indonesia is investigating. The NTSB has appointed a US Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the Country of Manufacture and Design of the airplane.
