On March 28, 2010, at 0900 coordinated universal time, a Piper PA-30, VH-KDS, registered to a private owner, collided with terrain near Northam, Australia. The airplane was substantially damaged and the pilot and passenger were killed. The flight departed Perth/Jandakot, Australia, at an unknown time.
