Factual Information

On March 14, 2011, at 1205 UTC, an Eclipse Aircraft Corporation, EA500, U.S. Registration N177EA, collided with a parked vehicle during landing at Saanen Aerodrome, Bern, Switzerland. The pilot and four passengers were not injured. The airplane was substantially damaged. The airplane was owned and operated by Liebherr-Geschaftsreiseflugzeug, GbR. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight. The flight originated from Innsbruck, Austria.This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Swiss government.
