Factual Information

TheAir AccidentInvestigation Unit (AAIU) ofIrelandhas notified the NTSB of an accidentinvolving a B737-8AS that occurred on October 20, 2011. The NTSBhas appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AAIU investigationunder the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. All investigative information will be released by the AAIU.
