Factual Information

On 12 March 2013, at approximately 1834 UTC time, a Boeing 737-800, registration OK-TVP, operated by Travel Service Polska between Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt and Katowice, Poland, overran the end of runway 27 after landing. The airplane came to rest with the nose gear and RH main landing gear off of the concrete surface, with the LH main landing gear remaining on the concrete surface. The airplane was not damaged and there were no injuries. The incident is being investigated by the State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation of Poland (SCAAI). The NTSB has appointed an Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Design and Manufacture of the aircraft.
