CESSNA 172N
On September 9, 2012, at 2000 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 172N, U.S. registration N1009F, was destroyed when it impacted the ground after the pilot lost control after takeoff. The pilot and three passengers were fatally injured. The pilot was conducting scenic flights in the vicinity of Acreúna Municipality, State of Goiás, Brazil. This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA) of Brazil.
