Factual Information

On April 19, 2014, about 1945 hours central daylight time, a British Aerospace HS 125 700A, XA-UKR, impacted an industrial complex and terrain while on final approach to Plan de Guadalupe International Airport (SLW), near Saltillo, Mexico. A postimpact ground fire occurred. The pilot, co-pilot, and six passengers were fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed. The aircraft originated from Cozumel Island and was destined for SLW. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC).
