Factual Information

On July 25, 2015, at 1745 universal coordinated time (UTC), a Cox model Bede BD-5G amateur-built airplane, Irish registration EI-DNN, serial number HJC4523, was destroyed during a postimpact fire following a forced landing near Garranbane, Ireland. The pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The flight had departed Waterford Airport (EIWF) and was enroute to Shannon Airport (EINN). The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of the Ireland.
