AMATEUR CONSTRUCTION GLASAIR RG
On September 20, 2015, about 1000 hours universal coordinated time, a Glassair RG airplane, Swiss registration HB-YEA was destroyed when it impacted an automobile and burst into flames during a forced landing following a loss of engine power near Muhen, Switzerland. The pilot was fatally injured. The incident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board (STSB).
