Factual Information

On April 11, 2017, about 0830 hours universal coordinated time, a Gulfstream Aerospace GIV-X (G450) airplane, United States registration N667HS, was substantially damaged when the nose landing gear collapsed after landing at the Salzburg Airport (LOWS), Salzburg, Austria. The two pilots and two passengers onboard were not injured. The flight had previously departed from LOWS, with an intended destination of Bangor International Airport (KBGR), Bangor, Maine, United States.The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Austrian Civil Aviation Safety Investigation Authority.
