On December 16, 2017, about 0037 Coordinated Universal Time, a Piper PA-23 airplane, CFIPK, impacted terrain near Baldur, Manitoba, Canada, under unknown circumstances. The pilot and passenger sustained fatal injuries.The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada is investigating the accident. As the State of Manufacture of the airplane and engine, the NTSB has designated a U.S. accredited representative to assist the TSB in its investigation.
