On May 30, 2018, at 1030 coordinated universal time, a Piper PA-31, registration ZS-LVJ, sustained minor damage when the left main landing gear collapsed during a landing roll at Wonderboom Airport (FAWB), Pretoria, South Africa. The pilot and other crewmember were not injured. The airplane was operated under the pertinent civil regulations for the government of South Africa.The Civil Aviation Authority of South Africa, Accident & Incident Investigation Division (AIID) is investigating the incident. As the state of manufacture of the airplane, the NTSB has designated a US accredited representative to assist the AIID in its investigation.
