The South Africa Accident and Incident Investigation Division (AIID) has notified the United States, as the State of Design and Manufacture for the Engines, of an engine in-flight shut down incident involving a BAE Aero 146 RJ85A, ZS-SSJ, that occurred near O.R. Tambo International Airport, Gauteng Province (FAOR) on March 27, 2019. All investigative information will be released by the AIID.
