On July 1, 2019, about 1530 Coordinated Universal Time, a Rans S-6ES airplane, C-IIJJ, impacted terrain near Rougemont, Quebec, Canada, under unknown circumstances. The pilot and passenger sustained fatal injuries.The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) of Canada is investigating the accident. As the State of Manufacture of the airplane, the NTSB has designated a U.S. accredited representative to assist the TSB in its investigation.
